Dr. Andrews is the Worldwide Medical Director for Women’s Health and Cancer at BD Life Sciences. As a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist, he has provided care in community settings in both Toronto and Washington, D.C. He has also provided care in academic settings as an Associate Professor at Duke University Medical Center and Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Dr. Andrews has held prestigious roles at several academic centers, and before joining BD he was the Chief Medical Research Advisor for the American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology. At BD, he focuses on molecular diagnostics, the prevention of cervical cancer through early detection of cancer precursors, and novel approaches to diagnosing infectious diseases in women. In 2020, Dr. Andrews has been working with the BD teams delivering SARS-CoV-2 diagnostics to meet the needs for molecular testing and rapid point-of-care testing.
